What do you make of this "scandal" of a former Catholic marrying into the British Royal Family?

Too much attention is given to the British Royal Family. Every time one of them gets married or flies a helicopter it makes national news. But it's not news. The British people should realize that they are paying their taxes to keep this family in luxury when they've neither earned it nor deserved it. There are more important issues to think about. It's the 21st century and the Royal Family and the Church of England are medieval institutions that need reforming not least because their obscene wealth was stolen from ordinary people hundreds of years ago. It's time it was returned.
