How far will a DTV signal reach?

Your gonna need an outside TV antenna, the directional kind. Seventy miles is stretching it for a set top antenna, even for digital. A digital signal gives a much clearer picture than og, but it is more problematic too. In the case of digital, when the signal is too weak or interfiered with, instead of just getting snowy, it breaks up and pixilates or goes dark completly. All you need is a small four or five element antenna mounted just above the roof and pointed at Dallas, and it'll be fine. But if you don't know what your doing then get someone else to put it up. It can be very dangerous if you don't do it safely and right.
