What is the definition of a wedding to you?

Out of curiosity more than anything. I have noticed countless people here say that getting married legally in a courthouse or in front of a judge or whoever in a civil ceremony is not a real wedding because it isn't in front of a minister. What is it then if it isn't a real wedding?
