My eyes are causing me to be depressed..?

Hi. I am a 17 year old who attends High School and has a job. I am getting depressed and having anxiety due to the condition my eyes are in. I have snowy vision, partial after images, floaters.. and now I see an aura around bright lights. My eyes used to be perfect, but I had -1.00 vision, and I stupidly wanted contacts, so I've been wearing them for about 2 years now. I went to a specialist and they checked everything they could, and they said there's nothing wrong with them. What is going on? I don't want to do anything almost... I just want to sit in bed and forget about the condition of my eyes! Especially at school, I have to wear contacts to see notes, and it sucks. Please can somebody out there tell me what might be the problem. I have thought before the snowy vision is from accidentally sleeping with my contacts in the first week of using them originally. I woke up and remember noticing my vision changed. Help please.. I would REALLY like to know, so I can atleast get back to enjoying life a little more. Thanks.
