Mountain driving tires?

i have jeep cherokee and i want to upgrade to bigger tires but i dont know which ones. i want a beefy looking tire like the BFG AT KO or General AT in a 31x10.5 but the biggest problem is i live in the mountains and i drive the mountain road everyday. so i dont want the tires to wear out quickly. so im stuck as to what to get. anything will help! i do offroad in trails so a AT is great for me and i articulate a lot to so the BFG sounds the best cause of the strong sidewalls. i have dunlop 215/75r15 on now with a 3" lift and its looks funny with such small tires. and help on tireds that are beefy AT and hold up well on connoring wear and tear would be great!
