Does race really matter?(asian/black question)?

i was just chewing on this today and i decided i just wanted to talk about it with you guys. so i have this attraction to a guy that is asian and i am black. im not really asking if hed be attracted to me because i already know everyone will say "race doesnt matter.its all about personality" but im asking what to expect if i ever went to his home. if his parents were a traditional asian family and they opened the door and saw a black girl on their doorstep waiting to be introduced as their son's girlfriend, what would happen? if you are an asian guy and your parents said you couldnt date me would you disobey your parents and be with me anyway?
